Thailand
So I’ve been here a little over a week now. I’ve done quite a bit of exploring and I’m having an awesome semi vacation even with all the doctor visits and such.
I had my surgery, everything seems golden. I’m not in any pain, I just have to deal with this putty in my mouth and a hole in the roof of it. I have a little over a week left I think. After my final check up I head back to Kyrgyzstan.
Things I have done so far; The famous weekend market, the floating market, The Royal Palace, and the emerald Buddha. I’m going to try and head out to some volunteer villages next week. They are all a huge distance away from the capital though. I’ve already hung out with a few of them in the city and they’re a great bunch of people. Really welcoming and they showed us a really fun time the other night.
I’ll try and keep everyone posted! My birthday is in a few days, and its kinda sad I’ll be spending it alone in Bangkok but there really isn’t anything I can do about it. I’m sure I’ll find something to keep myself entertained.
